About Us

In 2013, after moving from Odessa, we and our partners M.N. and S.A. decided to get into hookah outsourcing. Hookahs were actively developing in Ukraine, and our goal was to open our own establishment. We started by collaborating with Pivko (Restaurant Doina), then Maximilian, which we worked with until 2022, and others. The first season went well, but as winter approached, business declined, and we had to return to working in the restaurant industry. It was a difficult period, but we weren't ready to give up.

In 2015, at the start of the season, an acquaintance offered us one of the vacant floors in an old shawarma shop behind the market in a residential area. This offer seemed like an opportunity, and we enthusiastically began making furniture out of pallets. However, after only two or three weeks, we found out that our acquaintance, who rented the place, hadn't been paying for it, and he was evicted. It was a blow, but we didn't lose hope.

We continued looking for suitable premises and soon found an excellent spot across from the Mi piace restaurant — an abandoned Soviet store (now Pegas Burger). When we came to sign the contract, the chairman of the society owning the premises expressed distrust towards us and our plans. We rejected the contract, but this did not stop us.

A week later, we found a new place through an online ad. This time we were ready. We signed a contract for a basement at Eminescu Street 63. A year of renovation began, which we mostly did ourselves. Our parents helped us paint the walls when we felt down, and their support was invaluable.

In 2016, we approved the name of our future brand. It was suggested by M.N.'s wife — "Kamorka" (a cozy little place). Thus began the journey of the first hookah lounge in Moldova. We were full of hopes and ambitions.

Today, there's Kamora Center, Kamora Family, Kamora Vibe, Kamora Roof, Kamora Burger, and Rockovoy Bar by Kamora — and this is just the beginning. We are grateful to everyone who believed in us and supported us on this journey. We take pride in creating something unique and continue to grow to delight our guests.
